First Steps...Of A Wonderful Journey
I have had this blog spot for awhile - but being a child of the 60's it has taken me awhile to actually do something with it! It is always amazing just how much resources we possess and never utilize fully...I have saved quite a bit of my writings...and my book is to be published very soon: "Raising Princes to Be Kings: A Black Sinle Mother's Guide to Raising Her Black Son." I LOVE to write AND read!

I'm sorry, but as a black male raised in a single parent household, I can't agree with you. You seem to promote the idea of black women raising black sons on their own. You also say that black men can't have a strong chance of succeeding without that maternal side. If this is so, then why don't most black girls who grow up without any father figures in their lives falter? Most become quite successful. You seem to say that black women know how to raise black men on their own, which I can't personally agree with. I'm sorry.
