White - Lies

Ryan Lochte, 12- time Olympiad swimmer representing the United States of America in Rio, Brazil Summer Games 2016 claims he was robbed, and gun pointed to his head by corrupt police along with three of his USA swim friends after a night of partying. Lochte provided through details of the entire incident…

Lochte’s skin is white, so is his hair, but his motives are dark and sinister. Ryan Locate’s robbery account is completely false. He concocted, fabricated and contrived the fable after he and three other US swimmer buddies were caught on tape: a restroom was vandalized. Lochte believed fabricating a little white lie to match his hair and skin would be unquestioned.

Rio Di Janeiro, Brazil is known for high crime; enduring hyper scrutiny hosting the Summer Olympics; Rio is comprised largely of poor blacks with a racial divide as wide as the Grand Canyon. After Locate’s story fizzled out, he flew back to the United States quicker than you can say gold medal. You can believe Lochte's fabricated robbers were not white.

Ryan Lochte committed the epitome of white male privilege in America. Lochte demonstrated in Rio what American’s have known for hundreds of years; some white men will and do lie when faced with accountability. Here’s what’s so awful and so chronic of Lochte’s behavior.

For centuries, white men and women have blamed people of color for crimes and negative actions when those who are blamed are innocent; its so simple to believe and trust the validity of the white man, who would question the integrity of the white man? A white man could never do such a thing.

Rape, murder, police brutality, theft, drugs, vandalism, driving while intoxicated, a plethora of crimes white men commit, most are blamed and prosecuted upon people of color. Don’t believe me? Look at how many black men are incarcerated and are innocent with evidence stolen or never present for a conviction.  A few months ago a white college student raped an unconscious woman, the judge felt incarceration would be too harsh for his crime. If he were black, this story would be different.

The same goes for Ryan Lochte. If he were black, the Rio incident would be different.  Lochte has shown the world what occurs in the United States on an hourly, daily basis; white male entitlement frees white men from crime. Lochte epitomizes white entitlement; the chronic disease America was built upon: lying to confiscate land from indigenous people, manipulating the law so it suits white men (3/5ths Law for Blacks), raping and murdering; their faces are on currency and etched into mountains and monuments.

Ryan Lochte’s lies can kill: what if this investigation apprehended suspects and some one was killed in the line of duty or while in custody? Remember the white man who killed this wife and children, stating a black man killed his family, resulting in a manhunt; ‘suspects’ were apprehended… Ryan Lochte’s behavior doesn't kill white men, it kills men of color. White male entitlement is at the cost of someone else who is usually not white.

Mr. Lochte is so disconnected from reality, he felt an apology would suffice; he would be absconded from any wrongdoing. Another symptom of white male entitlement: white man does wrong, don't question him, just accept the story, later if the truth does come out, an apology will make it all go away. Boys will be boys? Lochte is 32 years old.

Sorry Ryan Lochte, an example must be set. Not only was Lochte representing the USA, he committed a crime in a foreign country, falsified his testimony, then hauled his entitled ass back to the USA as soon as he could. Ryan Lochte needs to be extradited back to Brazil for a formal indictment, stripped of his medals, all of his endorsements cancelled and be held accountable for his crime that is selfish, calculated, methodical and mocking in intent.

A little white lie is fine for hiding a surprise birthday party, or planning to propose marriage.  When white men lie, someone, a woman, a person of color pays the price.
